Who should come? If you’re a leader (top level or middle management) that already has or is working towards a culture of continuous improvement and  Operational Excellence, this event is for you.  Cultural change tools you should have a general understanding about before coming: balanced scorecard, suggestion (solution) system, and a problem solving system.

    • Team Structure
    • The Right Ratio
    • Team Classifications
  • Compensation
    • Suggestion (Solution) System
    • Perfect Attendance

Span of Control

As your teams begin to develop their problem solving skills and leaders are shifting to teacher/coaches in the system it is essential the team leader to team member ratio is correct.  If the span of control is too large or small – leaders are not able to be successful teacher/coaches.  The robust problem solving system that is implemented will surfacing problems and the span of control / team structure must be right to support solving those problems and leading team members to the next level of continuous improvement.

Compensation

If you’re planning on implement The KCOE’s System Organizational Strategy – you already have a suggestion (solution) system in place, and are mostly likely planning for a perfect attendance system.  The KCOE System calls for a compensation opportunity consisting of flexibility, perfect attendance, suggestions, and an overall profit sharing opportunity by meeting or exceeding balanced scorecard targets.  When profit sharing is tied to the balanced scorecard each team member should know how they can positively impact the balanced scorecard targets and thus their bonus.

Classification / Levels of an Organization

Organizational Strategy in the KCOE System of Operational Excellence helps you check and implement the appropriate levels of the organization: from the General Manager to team members, supervisors, group leaders, etc.  Come learn what your organizational chart may look like if you implement Operational Excellence andy why.
