Rodger B. Lewis and the Development of the OE Management System

Operational Excellence is the contemporary, cultural adaptation of the Toyota way and the Toyota production system as learned and experienced by Mr. Rodger Lewis.

Mr. Lewis developed the world's leading implementation system for Operational Excellence, during his executive career at Toyota, General Motors, and Bombardier.

In 2000, Mr. Lewis returned to Saint Vincent College and has worked to successfuly adapt his Operational Excellence system to apply to a wide variety of manufacturing, healthcare, and service industry businesses and non-profits.

Since this time, Mr. Lewis has served as the Executive-In-Residence to the Kennametal Center for Operational Excellence at Saint Vincent College. He has worked with and instructed the KCOE team to engage organizations and help them achieve world-class performance through the successful implementation of The KCOE System.
